jacs offers inspired and affordable cuisine influenced by rustic European flavors, in a lively and casual setting. Our passion doesn't end with food! The bar at jacs is a destination in its own right, featuring 15 craft and Belgian beers on tap, as well as fine wine and inspired cocktails. We strive to welcome and accommodate all members of our community by offering gluten free dining, children's meals and to go dining.

jacs is located in the lovely, tree lined Monroe Dudgeon neighborhood on the near west side of Madison, minutes from the University of Wisconsin and Camp Randall. jacs, 2611 Monroe Street, is surrounded by the natural beauty of Lake Wingra, the University of Wisconsin Arboretum and the quaint preserved brick buildings of Monroe Street.

Charity Arm
- One of our 15 craft beer taps is dedicated as the 'Charity Arm'. For every pint purchased, we donate to a local charity. Now you can drink your beer and feel good, too! Charities rotate monthly. To get involved, email Rebecca.
Fryer to Fleet
- We donate all of our used fryer oil to L'eft Bank Wine Co's Fryer to Fleet program. Our 80 gallons donated monthly filters into roughly 70 gallons of diesel substitute. L'eft Bank's expanding 'grease fleet' is reducing pollution in Dane County with our help. So now you can eat your frites and save the environment without ever leaving jacs!
Buy Fresh, Buy Local
We are proud Buy Fresh, Buy Local partners. Our staff works with Buy Fresh, Buy Local staff and local farmers to get Wisconsin's bounty to your plate.
